KING CRAB SALAD

I had this amazing king crab salad last summer in Saint-Tropez. I can’t stop thinking about it, so I decided to recreate it at home. You can use any type of crab or even shrimp.

Ingredients:

The Salad

  • 9 oz king crab

  • 12 cherry tomatoes

  • 1 avocado

  • ¼ grapefruit

  • ½ Granny Smith apple

  • 1 tbsp chives

  • 2 heads of butter lettuce

The Dressing

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp white balsamic

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

  • 6 tsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Cut the avocado and Granny Smith apple into thin slices. Chop your chives and slice up the grapefruit.

  2. Make the Dressing. Mix together balsamic, honey, mustard, olive oil, and salt.

  3. Arrange lettuce, crab, tomatoes, avocado, apple, grapefruit, and chives on a plate or bowl. and drizzle dressing to taste.
